My love of writing began in 1987. My parents gifted me with my first diary, and my love affair with words was born.
In school, I always scored well in my English and writing classes. I must admit -- I am privileged to have the muses with me so often.
In terms of my education, I received my B.A. in Interdisciplinary Humanities from Florida State University, I hold a Graduate Museum Studies Certificate from the University of Cincinnati, and a Master's in Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida.
My career has been tremendously creative and rewarding. I have had the pleasure of working with art galleries, museums, and a university. No matter where I worked, whether it was a privately-owned company or a nonprofit organization, I always found myself in charge of crafting the perfect words.
And I loved it.
When I stepped out of my last public relations job to become an Army wife for seven years, I began writing helpful articles about world travel and military life. In an instant, my work was featured on-air with AFN Wiesbaden in Germany, and I was picked up by Army WIfe 101 as the site's lead writer.
Since then, doors have opened continuously, and I am loving the thrill of this adventure! In addition to telling my own story, I now help others tell theirs. I team up with with individuals and brands to creatively craft content while they actively build upon their vision.
If you need it, I can write it. Leave the words to me.
